Timex electric dynabeat

New postby richiec » Wed Oct 02, 2013 12:33 am

Don't know much about these, got one for free Sunday, just had to put a battery in it, the most compatible was a LR44, seems to run ok, about 5 min slow a day though. I see these sell cheap on ebay, it is a pretty watch with its stainless steel case, just have to find a nice leather band to compliment it. Were these watches dogs or what?

Richie i would suspect its dirty and needs cleaning and oiling. I have read some people spray the movement with contact cleaner and apply a little oil to moving parts.
I would be careful with spraying with the dial on, it could damage it.
Also use good quality batteries in watches.
