Rae is dead on with identifying Fredeking, a jeweler and railroad inspector on the C&O at the Hinton, W.V. division point.
I don't have a Fredeking watch, but if you follow the clues you will see that you now have a new one.
And yes, it is a hell of a step up from the junkers I typically fool with.

If you are right, it sure threw me off because of geographical references. Waltham is out of Massachusetts, which is North. The WV fits though...
