Jon, as anyone looking at the fob can tell, it is a likeness of a modern Mack Fire Engine. Late ninety's, I would think. I don't think that Dan stated anywhere that is was a antique, or one of a kind, or numbered edition. These where made by the thousands. "Repro", I would think in this case, that the word does not apply. The fobs are not that old to begin with.

Jon Hanson wrote:Excuse me, there are many fobs made YESTERDAY sold at flea markets--the type of sale without mention as to age. The same holds true here--enlighten the collectors! Why not?

There ARE MANY FOB collectors that do not know the difference--the top of the posts read "FULL DISCLOSURE" and "PROVENANCE!"

Jon, as I'm sure you will agree, as in any hobby," you should do your homework before you start collecting". I am sure most "fob collectors", have done their homework, or should have. End of story.
