I could get one with another working clock in it for $100 on eBay. I could then sell the clock that comes in the case I suppose.

Don - they dont go for much money.

Just wait until a nonworking one (with a good case) comes up for bid - and dont pay more than $50 for it.

I paid $80 for mine without the case. Ones with cases are going for $190-$300 except for the $100 one the guy is now offering me for $90. The case is in really good shape and the clock is more highly jeweled than mine. Mine only has 7 jewels. I like the dial on mine better though. I could switch the dials and hands though, I suppose. Then , however, his clock would still say premier on the dial but it wouldn't be the premiere movement. I don't think I could do that and sell it.

Success !!. I won an eBay auction for a clock in a case along with a smaller Westclox travel clock for $29 total. I should be able to resell the Waltham clock and the Westclox one for at least that much even if they don't work and wind up getting the case for free. :D

Okay, I found a travel case for my Waltham 8 day clock. I got it along with another non working Waltham and a smaller Westclox that runs for a few seconds and stops, for a total of $29. Here's the case after a light application of brown shoe polish. Then there's a pic of the clock in the case.

It runs for just over 6 days on a full wind. Not quite 8 but pretty good.

That's a nice match, Don. I'm glad you found a case for it.
