6s Seaside J Milled For Wristy

New postby skitimes » Sat Sep 15, 2018 4:10 pm

Hello, Good Saturday, I Came Across This Waltham On Ebay Because I've Bought A case Like It Before Which Was A 0s Keystone. Turns Out It's Slightly Larger Than 0s (1s Too Big). There Are No Serial #s. After Taking The Movement Down The #s On The Pallet Bridge And Normal Plate Location, #648688 I Found She is A 6 Size Seaside J Model. Milled Down To Fit The Keystone Case. I Used A Donor J Model To replace a bad Center Wheel. The Dial Is From A 0s Early Waltham, With Some hands I Had. Stem And Sleeve Are from 6s Parts.Crown From Parts. I Wonder If This Was A Watchmaker Course Graduation Project Maybe? She Runs Like Quartz And Of Course Gorgeous. 16mm Lugs. 38mm Width With The Crown. Any Thoughts Or Comments Are Appreciated. Have A great Weekend MikeT
