NAWCC Message Board

New postby John Arrowood » Mon Mar 13, 2017 12:18 am

Is the MB down today? I haven't been able to access it all day today, Sunday March 12, 2017. Did the change to daylight saving time affect it?

No, it is working again, although searches are not working yet. The new message board, to be implemented on the 21st, should work better.

That is likely due to a lot of volunteer work and not totally professional help doing the transfer. It is taking way too long.

For a changeover that was supposed to take a day, it is getting ridiculous. I find the new format annoying at best. I tried saving the message board after logging in but it does not allow me to save the log in, have to log in every time, what a pain. they will probably lose more members as a result.

Rich -

It all seems to work just fine for ME - perhaps you're doing something wrong. When I log in using my user name, it gives me the option of automaticlally logging in every time I go to the message board. Maybe that box isn't selected for you (or maybe it just doesn't quite work yet).

As for how long it's taking to fully come up, it's all done by volunteers (I'm not one of them because I've pretty much given up computer work in my retirement). If you think you can help them get it done faster, why don't you volunteer and help them out?
