Maybe the serial number-36577-will help with my troubles. I have an 18s Keystone silveroid case. The bezel is wrong and slightly-very slightly, less than .5mm I think, too small. It could be a legitimate Keystone bezel;I have tried 4-5 now. My only clue is my serial number, which is much smaller than the others I have tried to use. Usually I see 6 or 7 numbers and I'm afraid my search is getting more complicated than I ever originally believed possible... :(
Any thoughts? Anyone else ever chase a bezel for an old Keystone?
She is in great shape and a sweet choo-choo case,too...and it's such a waste.

Marty - In all likelihood it is the correct bezel. When these things are polished off the case, depending on the amount of polishing it gets can significantly reduce the diameter of the bezel. I have seen this on many occasions.

Just put it on the case and polish the band until it meets and matches the bezel.

Neil that's more sanding than polishing! and it's perfectly even all around...that said I see the serial number on the bezel is close-42850-considering. Still,I'm not too happy with this.
