Elgin Gr. 796

I have had this watch for some time, but the information on it has been sketchy at best.
This would have been one of the very early swiss movements, and appears to have all the right Lord Elgin Markings. it is marked as a 30 jewel watch, self winding in a 10K gold case. Apologize for the poor pics.
Any new and better infor would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

I don't know anything about the watch, but in the 50's & 60's it was impressive to have 30 Jewels and more, I think Bulova had a 40 or 50 jewel watches, but when you opened them up the extra jewels were glued or mounted on a ring, serving no function. Yours may have the extra jewels in the rotor and self winding small gears to account for them?
